Gus has been involved in the Tech sector and channel sales of IT since mid-90s, based in San Diego CA USA.
Gus started on the value added reseller side, a white box computer maker and then TIG, one of the leading national VARs in the USA. Afterwards, Gus got into management of a sales IT team at Konica Computers, division of Konica Copiers and later at CompUSA Business sales team.
Gus eventually made the move to the vendor side when he was recruited to sell Cyclades now acquired by Avocent a KVM/IP switch, sold to companies like Qualcomm, Intuit, Verari Systems, First American Title and Novartis to name a few. During his career, he also worked for ESET, a security software company, managing their sales channels in 14 US States, and Gateprotect, a firewall firm.
Gus' 22 plus years in IT sales covering the USA SMB and Midmarket to the enterprise is equally divided selling direct but also split into selling via the channel, finding, recruiting, onboarding and managing resellers. A true hybrid sales person building long lasting relationships with end users and partners, Gus is also capable of wearing a channel marketing hat to create amazing co-funded marketing events with partners to generate new sales for many of the vendors worked for.
